ETHIOPIA: PROJECT AND OFFICE SUPPORT INTERN

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the GGGI Ethiopia, Addis Ababa Office to support the overall implementation of the country office. It is anticipated that the Intern will be able to provide assistance on across a range of admin and program of the country office engaging with the operation and program team.

The assignment will include the following but not limited to:

  • Assisting program staff through data collection, summarizing results of collected data and report writing.
  • Assisting in the collection and updating of database files. create, update, and maintain project documents through an organized filing system and maintaining standard record system for tracking purposes.
  • Support communication related activities in preparing presentations and content creation for social media platforms,
  • Supporting GGGI Ethiopia Country office including reception.
  • Providing administration support to ensure smooth functioning of the office and overseeing the day-to-day operations, including managing office supplies and stationaries.
  • Drafting letters and maintaining safe documentation of incoming and outgoing letters
  • Supporting program activities with event and logistics arrangements
  • Assisting the Country representative by providing secretarial services, meeting arrangement and managing calendar.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Country Representative.
QUALIFICATION

The suitable candidate should have a minimum of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Secretarial Sciences, Management, Marketing, Accounting; Communication and Public Relations; or related subjects from a recognized University; master’s degree is preferred (recent graduate with in the last 12 months).
  • 1 year of relevant experience for Bachelor Graduates
  • 2 years of relevant work experience for Master’s Degree graduates. Experience in an international organization working environment will be a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent English language skill.
