This project directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4: “Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.” This project aligns and contributes to implementing the Zanzibar Development Plan (ZADEP) 2021-2026 by aiming to increase the proportion of teachers qualified in science or technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The Zanzibar Development Vision (ZDV 2050) sets a strategic direction for Zanzibar’s education sector: To transform the education system to support quality inclusive education and training programs to build the human capital that serves economic and social development needs.
This vision plays a crucial role in guiding our projects and ensuring they align with the long-term goals of the education sector.
