The OECD Directorate for Education and Skills (ED leads the Organisation’s work to help member and nonmember countries achieve highquality learning for all, design better skills policies, and turn them into jobs and growth. The directorate carries this out by providing statistics, analysis and policy advice to countries on a wide range of educational topics.
EDU is looking for a Junior Analyst to work in the EDU Director’s Front Office under the supervision of the Senior Counsellor and in support of the Director and Deputy Director. The selected candidate will coordinate inputs from across the Directorate for a broad range of requests from the Front Office and EDU Management group, and will actively work to support crossdirectorate collaboration, in particular with the development of the biannual Programme of Work and Budget (PWfor education and skills. This will include support for the delivery of EDU’s Ideas Incubator initiative, undertaken in partnership with the OECD Centre for Skills (SK, and for advancing deeper collaboration among staff working on similar thematic areas across the directorate. S/he will also work to support the Directorate in coordinating EDU’s existing and potential engagement with foundations and other partners, with responsibility for maintaining a centralized system to track donor relations in EDU, and will support the delivery of Education Policy Committee (EDPmeetings and annual Chairs’ Retreats of education bodies. S/he will also assume responsibility for special assignments at Directorate level.
