The External Relations Officer is a member of the IIASA Communications and External Relations (CER) department and is responsible, together with the external relations team, for developing and implementing engagements between IIASA, its member countries and other external stakeholders.

Candidates should be available to take up the position in June 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter. We offer an initial fixed-term, full-time employment contract for one year, with the intention to extend to an open- ended contract thereafter.
Duties will be carried out at the IIASA premises in Laxenburg, near Vienna in Austria.
