To contribute to ensuring continuity and smooth transition from preschool to primary school, more than 3,000 primary school teachers and expert associates participated at the online training “On the Joint Learning Path” developed and implemented jointly by professionals from pre- and primary schools, while preschool principals, heads of municipal boards of primary school principals and education advisers discussed these topics on horizontal learning events. Capacities for change management have been addressed through trainings of expert associates and horizontal learning of preschool principals and education advisers. Throughout the implementation, the Capacity Building Programme has been monitored in accordance with the Monitoring Framework agreed with the Ministry of Education, informing the next steps.
Through this consultancy, support will be provided to monitoring and evaluation of the mentoring support provided by the advisers-external associates, as a new system mechanism. Results will be used by the Ministry of Education to ensure quality development of this type of support to preschools.
Work Assignment Overview:
The M&E Experts will be responsible for the development of the methodology and instruments, data collection and development of the report with recommendations. All tasks will be implemented in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education (Department for Coordination of Regional School Administrations and the Group for Preschool Education), ECEC Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and UNICEF.
