ITG’s goal is to provide greater effectiveness, efficiency, and differentiation to UNOPS products and services. UNOPS IT Group is responsible for architecting, designing, delivering, and managing all UNOPS IT infrastructure and business applications. The unit includes Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, Solutions Designers, Developers and QA Testers from all around the world who are based primarily in Denmark and Thailand.
In order to increase its impact in the world, UNOPS is embarking on a Process Innovation and Digitalisation journey. The PID Programme is expected to last four years. Working closely with the UNOPS Information Technology Group (ITG), it will simplify the processes through which UNOPS delivers support in more than 80 countries, and introduce digital technologies and solutions to support the work of frontline teams and partners. It will also improve UNOPS’ collection and use of data, capacity for foresight, capacity for planning, knowledge management, and reporting.
Under the supervision of the IT Product Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with the business functions to understand the core business need and to coordinate and monitor the development work on a daily basis to support that the product delivered by the IT Group (ITG) addresses the need and results in improvements in the form of increased effectiveness, efficiency, or differentiation for UNOPS products and services on time and within resources.
The team is looking for 2 Business Analysts – one to work with our Procurement Product team and one to work with our HR Product team. Please indicate your preference if any in your cover letter.
