Introduction :

UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 International Consultant to support a team of national consultants to develop a manual on professional skills of executors in asset recovery in corrupt and economic cases and deliver a training of trainers

The UNCAC 2nd review cycle report 2021 recommends Vietnam to further improve preventive anti-corruption policies and practices, including the issue of asset recovery.

With general funding support from the US State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), the Project on strengthening Viet Nam’s implementation of the UN Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) aims to strengthen legal framework and law enforcement for effective implementation of the UNCAC recommendations on preventive measures and asset recovery.

The Project is supporting the General Department of Civil Judgement Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice to build capacities for executors in asset recovery in corrupt and economic cases through developing a Manual on professional skills of executors and providing trainings for executors.

Currently, the first draft Manual is prepared by a team of national consultants under the supervision of UNDP and General Department of Civil Judgement Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice. An international expert’s perspective and sharing of international experience on this issue is necessary for the national consultants to improve the draft. UNDP commissions an international consultant to support national consultants in this work.
