ITG’s goal is to provide greater effectiveness, efficiency, and differentiation to UNOPS products and services. UNOPS IT Group is responsible for architecting, designing, delivering, and managing all UNOPS IT infrastructure and business applications. The unit includes Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, Solutions Designers, Developers and QA Testers from all around the world who are based primarily in Denmark and Thailand.
In order to increase its impact in the world, UNOPS is embarking on a Process Innovation and Digitalisation journey. The PID Programme is expected to last four years. Working closely with the UNOPS Information Technology Group (ITG), it will simplify the processes through which UNOPS delivers support in more than 80 countries, and introduce digital technologies and solutions to support the work of frontline teams and partners. It will also improve UNOPS’ collection and use of data, capacity for foresight, capacity for planning, knowledge management, and reporting.
The ITG Project Management and Support office acts as Project Management/Project Support office for both ITG and the PID Programme. We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our team and primarily support various procurement activities, assist in procurement documentation, license management, market research, and data analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT procurement processes.
Reporting to the ITG Contract Manager, the intern will amongst other things perform the following functions:
1. Assist in Procurement Processes and Documentation
2. License Management Support
3. Market Research and data analysis support

Education
The applicant must be pursuing a university degree such as Bachelor, Masters or Ph.D. (or the equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or have graduated from such studies within three years prior to the application date of the internship.

Contract level: Internship
Contract duration: 6 months with possibility of extension up to 12 consecutive months
This internship is not designed to lead to a staff position with UNOPS. Therefore, there should be no expectation of employment at the end of the internship.
Interns may be eligible for a monthly stipend from UNOPS provided that they do not receive funds from other institutions. However, they must make their own arrangements for accommodation, travel and necessary visa arrangements.
