The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (the Alliance) is a hosted partnership within the Science Division that aims to promote the generation and use of health policy and systems research to improve the performance of health systems as a means of achieving organizational goals of UHC and SDGs. The objectives of the Alliance are to:- Provide a unique forum for the HPSR community;- Support institutional capacity for the conduct and uptake of HPSR;- Stimulate the generation of knowledge and innovations to nurture learnings and resilience in health systems, and;- Increase the demand and use of knowledge for strengthening health systems.

WHO salaries for staff in the Professional category are calculated in US dollars. The remuneration for the above position comprises an annual base salary starting at USD 77,326 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to USD 5464 per month for the duty station indicated above. Other benefits include 30 days of annual leave, allowances for dependent family members, home leave, and an education grant for dependent children.
