The Administrative Support for the FACE (Funding Authorization and Certification of Expense) Form Verifications supports the Office Operations by performing a variety of standard administrative processes ensuring high quality and accuracy of work. The Consultant promotes a client, quality, and results-oriented approach. The Consultant works in close collaboration with the programme and projects staff and the Operations team to ensure consistent and timely service delivery.
Under the overall supervision of the Finance Associate and direct support to the Programme Associate for the programme unit, the consultant will undertake the review and verification of the supporting financial documents for the FACE Form. This entails analyzing the authenticity and accuracy of the provided information and ensuring compliance with established financial and procurement policies and guidelines (including donor’s policies when relevant). The consultant will have to collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including UN Women’s Responsible Parties/Implementing Partners to clarify, and address any discrepancies, missing information, and/or documentation. The Consultant is expected to work independently upon clear guidance provided by the Finance Associate and Programme Associates. Upon prior coordination with the respective project/thematic lead and in the presence of the Programme Associate, the Consultant is expected to be ready to conduct an in-person visit to the Partners’ Office and engage with relevant staff during the verification process.
Consultant’s Workplace and Official Travel
This is a home-based consultancy. As part of this assignment, the consultant is needed to work at the Partner’s office upon guidance and coordination of the designated Programme Associate.
