In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll work as a part of our Finance and Support Services team in our brand new Melbourne CBD office to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Payroll Officer plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether it’s working on the preparation, lodgement, and payment of wages or ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient management of the payroll function be contributing to our commitment to children in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.
You will make a difference by:
· Processing end to end payroll in conjunction with Payroll, Human Resources, and Finance teams
· Ensuring the administration of WorkCover, superannuation, new starters, employment changes and terminations.
· Administering employee queries and responding in a timely and accurate manner
· Ensure the process of pacific region payroll process smoothly.
· Completing all other adhoc payroll duties.

· High level of attention to detail.
· Solid understanding of Payroll rules in general
· Experience as a payroll officer for more than 12 months
· Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
· Previous experience in ichris is desirable but not mandatory
