The purpose of this position is to provide technical support and coordination in the development and implementation of the information and geographic mapping systems necessary for the collation, tracking and analysis of relevant intelligence and information related to health humanitarian action and emergency risk management.
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics other or similar field from an accredited/ recognized institute.
Desirable: Experience with WHO tools such as the HeRAMS, SSA database. Experience in project management.
Essential: At least two years of experience at the national and or international level in information management in humanitarian situations.
Desirable: Related experience with WHO, the UN System or international NGO work in the field of outbreaks and or health emergency response.
• Good knowledge of information management and the IT skills necessary to achieve PH IM.
• Demonstrated precision and eye for detail.
• Capacity to coordinate and collaborate with partners.
• Experience-based knowledge of information collection, analysis and presentation.
• Discretion and tact.
