This position is located in the UNDSS field office in Istanbul, Türkiye. Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Field Security Coordination Officer (FSCO), the Field Security Associate (FSA) assists in the implementation of security operations and all matters relating to the management of safety and security for the UN personnel, UN premises, assets, and operations in the Area of Responsibility (AoR).
The position is locally administered by UNDP but is financed locally by the LCSSB.

Minimum Qualifications of the Successful NPSA

Min. years of relevant work experience | A minimum of 6 years (with high school diploma) or 3 years (with bachelor’s degree) of progressively responsible administrative or project experience is required., progressively responsible and relevant work experience in security, risk management, disaster or emergency areas with security responsibilities, in the public or private service areas.
