Mission and objectives
The Frontier Tech Leaders Programme is a joint initiative of UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) SDG AI Lab and UN Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries and supported by the Government of Türkiye. The Frontier Tech Leaders Programme aims to raise a new generation of tech specialists to strengthen local capacities and develop digital solutions for the LDCs (Least Developed Countries) towards achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Furthermore, the initiative will inspire young people as well as promote gender equality, encouraging women to pursue tech education and careers.
Context
Frontier Tech Leaders Programme Python Training in Djibouti starts in July 22nd. The volunteer is expected to support the training coordinator and course guides during the live training sessions by moderating. Also, they are expected to provide support for the tasks related to community members such as tracking student progress, making announcements, communicate with the students, collect homework and projects etc.
Task Description
The Online Volunteers Community Communication and Administration Support are expected to: -Support the team throughout the training (December-March) -Moderate live 3-4 training sessions weekly (Evening sessions during the weekdays and morning sessions on the weekend). -Support the FTL team. -Track assignment progress. -Collect homework and projects.
