The Sub-National Technical Manager will provide technical and management leadership and support on the implementation of high-quality multisectoral nutrition interventions at sub-national levels. S/he will work closely with project leadership; technical personnel with expertise in governance, nutrition, food systems, and resilience; and regionally-based staff to provide support to districts to plan, budget and implement multisectoral nutrition activities and provide coordination support for all of ELEVATE Nutrition Ghana activities within the districts. S/he will be responsible for identifying technical support needs among regionally-based staff to best support sub-national actors to implement high-quality multisectoral nutrition programs, and therefore is expected to be conversant in the core technical themes of the project.
The Sub-National Technical Manager will report to the Deputy Chief of Party – Technical. The position will supervise 3-5 Regional Support Officers who are responsible for providing technical support to the regions and districts where ELEVATE Nutrition Ghana is working. The Sub-National Technical Manager will work collaboratively with staff in the ELEVATE Nutrition Ghana and headquarters offices. The position will be based in Tamale, Ghana with frequent travel expected across the five northern regions.
