Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, knowledge.

How can you make a difference?

UNICEF Nepal Country Office works in partnership with national and local governments, civil society, mass media and other development partners to advocate for child rights in Nepal. To pursue this intention, the Office develops a range of communication materials including reports, press releases, human interest stories, briefing notes, factsheets, IEC materials, etc. targeted at numerous audiences including government, civil society, business and the media as well as children and young people. These materials need to be translated to various languages including Nepali, English, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Doteli, Achhami, Tamang, Newari and Awadhi for the benefit of the target audiences. For this, UNICEF would like to engage the services of translators. With prior briefing for each assignment, the translators are required to submit their translated work, as per the UNICEF Style Book for English translations. The translators should be available at very short notice in case of emergencies and may be required to work on Saturdays and Sundays, based on the requirements of the assignment.
